ABOUT ME

I am a guitarist, singer and songwriter and just an all round lover of music and art. I’ve played in a wide range of bands covering the spectrum of genres ranging from soul to death metal. I believe the sound of real instruments and vocals, recorded well and performed with passion can truly make the world a better place.

I set-up my first home studio to self-produce my music, which I release under the artist name Desert Ocean.

When I decided to offer my services to other musicians, I had a few guiding principles in mind:

• I want to help more people get their music out into the world

• I want to provide not only a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere for creativity, but also flexible and tailored services that fit the needs of each individual

• I want to remain fair with my pricing so that I can maximise access to my services

There is no project too small and I’m here to build long lasting professional relationships but also friendships with like-minded artists, wherever they may come from, hopefully creating a community that we can all benefit from.

DESERT OCEAN STUDIOS is currently based in Draycott, Derbyshire (10 minutes from M1 junction 25) making it ideally suited not only for artists from Derby and Nottingham, but also the rest of the East Midlands.
